New Delhi: Today, at the Parliament session in Rajya Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laughed momentarily during a ferocious attack by the opposition on his decision of demonetization of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 currency notes.
Naresh Agrawal of the Samajwadi Party, joked in a debate on demonetization in the session, "There are those who say the PM did not take (even) Arun Jaitley into confidence (about the notes ban). If Arun ji had known, he would have whispered this to us, he knows me."
After listening to his words, both PM Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley laughed briefly.
