Being the buzz of 4G all around, Samsung is said to have 4G in all upcoming smartphones. The step is to increase the market share in the 4G segment. Features phones will also be there to see the price concerned consumers.

Samsung India has made the announcement that their all upcoming smartphones will have the 4G facility. The step is to cope up with the market trend and strategies other competitors are following. With the step, the company is expecting a gain in the market share which is 48.7 percent at present in terms of value.

In a conversation with the company vice president (Mobile Business), Manu Sharma shared that, “At the entry level we have tough competition as the feature phone users are upgrading towards smartphones. All the future launches including the entry level ones will be having 4G facilities and company will promote sell of 4G devices. However, he also confirmed that for the budget customers we will be continuing the feature phones as well”. According to Manu company has gained sells this year but he refused to share the exact figures.

As the company is having a tough time because of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 issues. He said the company will be refunded all the buyers who have purchased Samsung Galaxy Note 7 outside the country. They just need to visit the nearest Samsung service centre and they can ask for the refund furnishing the basic form filling details.

Samsung has launched the latest version of the “My Galaxy” application which is the prime application for all the galaxy smartphone users. The application gives your information regarding system updates, accessories and interactive walkthroughs to follow for easy handling of your devices. Occasionally you earn the rewards in terms of movie and music purchases or event tickets for the live concerts. The application was developed by the engineering team at the Research and Development institute of the company centred in Bangalore.

To conclude the talk he added, “It is the testimony of our passion towards innovation and localisation. India has become the 4th largest app economy after the big names China, US and Brazil”.
