SC plans to look at the 'security system' of Facebook & Whatsapp

Supreme Court recently planned to look at the 'security system' of Facebook. As majority of the population use Facebook and Whatsapp as a personal messaging and data sharing application and believe on its privacy measures. Arrival of hacking cases and spread of irrelevant into spotlight provoked India's Central Judiciary to check the privacy system of social networking sites.

Chief Justice JS Khehar and Justice DY Chandrachud asked both the social sites to respond within 2 weeks of case filed in Delhi court. Bench also invited Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi to support 'Right to Privacy' complain filed by Karmanya Singh Sareen and Shreya Sethi.

Delhi Court, last year appealed to Whatsapp to delete all the private information of the Whatsapp user after he/she deactivates his/her account and also asked to not to share it with any other social networking sites.
