The Supreme Court today is all set to hear the Issue of Sutlej-Yamuna Link (SYL) which involve Haryana and Punjab states. The court last week refused to hear the plea of Punjab government to adjourn the date of a matter.
The court on January asked both the state's government to file their nominations within three weeks.
The Punjab Government in 2004 passed the law to terminate the Canal water sharing agreement with neighbouring states. Last year in November, the court termed the law as Unconstitutional.
