Shurhozelie Liezietsu of Naga People's Front (NPF) today will be sworn as the new Nagaland Chief Minister. The Chief Minister TR Zeliang resigned on Sunday.
42 of the 49 legislators on February 15 supported Shurhozelie as their new legislature party leader.
From the Northern Angami assembly constituency, he has been elected to the Nagaland assembly eight times.
