In Murder case of a woman and her daughter on a land dispute, the court has sentenced six people to life imprisonment. A fine of Rs 30,000 is also imposed on them by additional District and Sessions Judge DC Singh.

The lawyer Jitender Tyagi as per the sources news said “They were held guilty under section 302 (murder) of IPC and the court also directed them to pay Rs 1 lakh to the family of  the victims”

He further said that “Raghviri Devi and her daughter, Rajesh Devi, were crushed to death under a tractor by them over a land dispute in Shamli district's Kitana village on October 20, 2010”

The lawyer said Raghviri's son-in-law had lodged a complaint at the Kandha Police Station,
