SpaceX will have its first mission in the year 2017, in which the spacecraft will hold nearly 2,500Kg of the supplies. The supplies are being lodged as a part of Apollo/ Saturn V mission.
The mission will initiate at 8 PM today (10.01 a.m. EST) from the Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk is excited about the new launch, he tweeted, "Looks like we are going for launch.”
NASA said, "It will take two days for the Dragon to catch up to the space station and move within reach of the station’s 57-foot-long robotic arm."
NASA got a call from Weather Squadron, they said in telephonic conversation, "The forecast issued today from the 45th Weather Squadron calls for a 60 percent chance of acceptable conditions Saturday morning for the launch of the CRS-10 mission.”
NASA said that, if the project will not be implemented on Saturday, then it will surely to be held on Sunday.
