The Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan is going to visit the residence of MP E. Ahamed and will pay her tribute to the minister. Rajnath Singh, the Union Home Minister and Ananth Kumar, Union Minister already reached his home.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his sadness over the demise of the minister by tweeting on Twitter. 

Saddened by the demise of Mr. E Ahamed, a veteran political leader who served the nation with great diligence. My condolences" he tweeted.

There was the doubt that the Budget will get presented today by the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in the Parliament but the Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan confirmed that it will be introduced today only.
