The television show 'Pehredaar Piya Ki' which was surrounded by controversies has been shut down in August when I&B Minister Smriti Zubin Irani created the pressure to pulled off the show from the air as various viewers blamed it for promoting child marriage.

Now, the season 2 of the disputable show will be going to return on sony. It's a buzz that the actress Tejaswini Prakash will be in the same traditional attire, named as Diya. But, the watchers need to wait till November to see the on their screens.

As per the sources, “The show has taken a jump so Ratan will play a man in his 20s and Diya is in her 30s. Post jump, the story will rotate around the youthful Ratan Singh, who returns in the wake of finishing his studies from a foreign university. It will enthusiasm to perceive how Ratan’s youngster marriage will influence his and Diya’s lives post jump. Tejaswini’s character will be demonstrated more developed and she will now assume the part of a 30 year-old-lady.”

Shooting of the show has been started but title of Season 2 still not be chosen yet. So, audience now let's wait and watch what will be the new this time.
