Dachigam National Park is a beautiful place, located about 22 Kilometers from Srinagar District of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Total area of the park is about 141 Km. Wular lake
Wular lake is situated approximately 60 kms away from Srinagar. Wular lake known as one of the largest freshwaters lake in India. Wular lake is surrounded by magnificent mountains and dense forests studded with various trees like coniferous pine, apple and walnut adding a sublime touch to the ambience. There is a variety of fish in the lake, which serves as a medium of food for many and a number of people residing in the vicinity practise fishing as their main occupation.
Hokersar
Situated about 10 kms north of Srinagar, the Hokersar wetland comprises a lake and marshy area, spread over an area of more than 7.6 square kms. Hokersar lake in Kashmir which attracts birds from various parts of the world.
