You might have always heard of God and Goddesses being worshiped in a temple but have you ever heard of a Frog being worshiped as God. Yes, that's true. We are talking about a small district of Uttar Pradesh named Lakhmirpur-khiri where there is a small village named Oyal.
It is the only temple of India where a Frog is worshiped as a God. The temple is around 200 years old and was established by a Tantrik named Kapila. According to beliefs, it was made in order to get rid of famine and drought due to the scarcity of rains.
There are the lot of devotees who worship this temple majorly on Mahashivratri and Deepavali.
