Protect your camera: 
You should protect your camera, as you don't know when someone unknowingly splashes water on you and damages your expensive camera.

Apply mustard oil to the whole body, one day before the shoot. Mustard oil will protect you from chemicalized colors.
 

Choose only one lens for the whole shoot:
Changing lenses may be hazardous to your camera, so choose any one lens before covering your camera.
 

Put UV filters:
Put UV filters as default, which will capture the whole scene of your festival without missing even one color.
