TVS Motor, a Chennai-based automaker is now called as India's largest scooter maker. TVS Motor has leaped Hero Motocorp back and now runs at the top position and now Hero is at the second position in Indian market.
As per the Society of Indian Automobile Manufactures (SIAM) reports, 7,43,838 units are sold by the TVS Motors in 2016 fiscal, while 7,07,884 units in the 2015 fiscal year, which showed the 5.07% growth in its sells.
As per the reports, TVS Jupiter is the best selling scooter, the company sold 51,817 units in the month of February and Hero Maestro sold 32,421 units in the same month. This shows that TVS showed the comparatively good performance.
