One engineering graduate and other pursuing engineering student namely, Rahul Meena age 20 yrs, an engineering student from Gwalior, and other Dharamraj Meena age 20 yrs, an engineering graduate from Jaipur. Both of these are arrested for allegedly deceiving Flipkart , an e-commerce company, of Rs.1.05 crore and 152 high-priced smartphones by making a wrong claim that they were delivered empty boxes.

As per the complaint registered by the company, both the boys used to order costly mobile phones from the websites from different addresses, IDs and names and then used to claim that company had send empty parcels, after which they used to get the money back as well. 

“The zonal manager of FlipKart, Manoj Chudhary had on 24 September complained that some persons had duped the company of Rs50 and 55 lakh and 152 expensive phones,” Sawai Singh Godara, Superintendent of Police (city) said.

“They were involved in duping the company for last one-and-a-half-year. The doubt arose when the company officials noticed that two bank account numbers sent for refund were same,” the SP said.

Since, the forgery they have been living a luxurious life until police caught them.
