Fidel castro was completely against US and spent his entire life in struggling against their capitalism, but now when he is dead, everything related to US has come back to Cuba including American cruise ships, flights, and the embassy as well.
People have now hung US flags everywhere and now are hopeful that the ties with the country will grow and the animosity that existed for so many years will disappear slowly.
"Everybody knows that Fidel was not very enthusiastic about the political changes undertaken by his brother. He was a bit uneasy," said Michael Shifter, president of the Inter-American Dialogue in Washington.
Obama was the first President who bravely visited the island in the last 88 years - Castro wrote a critical column, saying that "we don't need any gifts from the empire."
