A common virus in Western Africa is affecting children's health, and till this time 100% cure of the disease is not available. Recently, a new vaccine developed by the researchers to kill the Rotavirus has shown the 67% effective results.
The disease caused by this virus kills 500,000 children from dehydration and other complications. These diseases are commonly found in the sub-Saharan area. All the reports are released by the WHO (world health organization).
As per the study, "At 28 days after the third dose of vaccine or placebo, severe rotavirus gastroenteritis had been reported in 31 infants in the vaccine group and in 87 in the placebo group."
