Xiaomi has initiated the new manufacturing plant in India. India is one of the biggest markets in the world, and Xiaomi finds a good future in it. As per the reports, new manufacturing plant of Xiaomi produces one cellular a second.

Xiaomi's manufacturing plant is operated by Foxconn. The company said that they are facing problems to cop-up with the public demand, thus this may help them to overcome the issues.

This new plant has provided 5,000 employment, out of which, 90% are women. Xiaomi India head and Vice-President Manu Kumar Jain said, "The key for us was to start hitting one phone per the second kind and we thought we will announce it only when we hit that number. Now we are hitting that consistently."
