American multinational technology company Yahoo is punishing its Chief Executive Officer Marissa Mayer for not handling security properly at the user to user end. This exposed the personal information of the 1billion users.
This security issues proved much expensive to the company, as it led the company to pay $350 million. After this, the company has thought to punish the Yahoo's CEO.
As per the reports, Mayer won't be paid her annual bonus and no lucrative stock awards. This punishment was decided because during the investigation team said that Yahoo's team didn't react during the issues and failed to take the step for the security.
