New Delhi: More stringent security arrangements are being made by the police this time for the 75th Independence Day, program. More than 10,000 Delhi Police personnel will be deployed around the Red Fort and on the routes to and from there. The police will keep an eye from the ground to the sky. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation from the ramparts of the Fort on Independence Day. PM Modi's 7-layer security will be in the Red Fort. Over 10,000 police personnel will be deployed around the historic Red Fort on August 15 on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day. The Delhi Police said it has made elaborate security arrangements for independence day. Special Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Dependra Pathak said at a press conference "On the occasion of Independence Day, over 10,000 police personnel will be deployed in different roles on the roads leading to the Red Fort and the venue. We have made foolproof security arrangements for the day.'' Along with these, many security agencies will also be deployed. The security circle of the Red Fort is being prepared in coordination with them. Also, more than 1000 CCTV cameras have been installed around the Red Fort, through which people coming and going there will be monitored. The cameras will be installed by the north, central and New Delhi district units of the city police. These cameras will also help in keeping an eye on the VVIP route leading to the Red Fort. At the same time, special equipment has been deployed to monitor the drone, so that any suspicious drone will not only be identified and stopped but will also be killed. Special types of alarm cameras are being installed in the security circle of the Red Fort. Who will not only mark the movement of any suspect but will also alert the security forces by giving an alarm. Like every year, this time too, the area around the Red Fort will be declared a no-flying zone during the event. Flying kites, balloons, and drones will be banned here. Also, more than 400 people will be deployed by the police, who will work to bring down the kites flying there. The Special Commissioner of Police has said that hotels, guesthouses, parking lots and restaurants are being searched. A drive is being conducted to verify tenants and domestic bits of help. He said the Delhi Police is in touch with various agencies and all incoming information is being acted upon. He said that we are also spreading awareness through residence welfare associations and market welfare associations.
