11 big announcements of Yogi Govt budget 2022

Lucknow: The Yogi government, which came to power for the second time in a row in Uttar Pradesh, has presented the biggest budget in history. State Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna presented a budget of 6 lakh 15 thousand 518 crore 97 lakh rupees for 2022-23 in the Assembly. In this budget, it has been announced to distribute two gas cylinders free of cost in a year from the running of the metro in Gorakhpur and Banaras. 11 big announcements made by the Yogi government in this budget:-

65.71 crore 13 lakh for distribution of free foodgrains, whole selection, refined soyabean oil and iodine salt to beneficiaries under The Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana along with free foodgrains, whole selection, refined soyabean oil and iodine salt to the beneficiaries under The Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana

2- Gram Unnati Yojana was brought in the name of former CM Kalyan Singh, in the scheme, the government will install solar lights in the village.

Kanpur Metro Rail will have a budget of Rs.747 crore, Agra Metro Rail will have a budget of Rs.597 crore, Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor will get Rs.13.06 crore, and Metro Rail will also be introduced in Banaras and Gorakhpur. 100 crore for Banaras and Gorakhpur Metro

95 crores proposed for the purchase of land for setting up of International Cricket Stadium at Varanasi.

5- Under the It and Electronics Industry Policy, a target of investment of Rs.40,000 crore and employment generation for 0.4 lakh persons has been fixed in 5 years.

6- Target to distribute 0.2 crore smartphones or tablets in 5 years with a view to making the youth of urban and rural areas of the State technologically enabled.  

5.23 crore 34 lakh has been provided for the implementation of the scheme at Lucknow, Gautam Budh Nagar, Agra, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, and Prayagraj for the safety of women under the Safe City Scheme.  

8- 15,000 solar pumps will be set up in the financial year 2022-2023 and a target of distribution of 60.20 lakh quintals of seeds will be achieved in the financial year 2022-2023.  

9- The amount of pension of each beneficiary under the old-age pension scheme has been increased to Rs.1000 per month. The amount of pension payable to eligible beneficiaries under the Destitute Women Pension Scheme has been increased from Rs.500 per month to Rs.1000 per month.

10- Free electricity connection to poor families and other rural households in 10 monthly instalments of Rs.50 under Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana (Saubhagya).

11- Nand Baba Award to be launched for milk producers, a new dairy plant of 3 thousand litres will be set up in Mathura
