11 Coal Miners Shot Dead After Being Kidnapped in Pakistan

The gun men in Pakistan's restive southwestern Balochistan province shot and killed at least 11 coal miners Sunday after Kidnapp. The Express Tribune was quoted by police as saying that the miners on their way to work were abducted by unidentified gunmen and shot dead by taking them to the nearby hills in Mach area.

It has been learned that according to the police, six of these miners died on the spot and five seriously injured died while on their way to the hospital. Police, Frontier Corps and district administration officials rushed to the spot after the incident. CM Jam Jam Kamal of Balochistan condemned the incident and sought an inquiry report from the authorities concerned.
