New Delhi: Farmers' agitation has been continuing for the last 17 days against the agricultural laws brought by the central government. Meanwhile, 11 farmers have lost their lives so far. Former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi has targeted the Centre's Modi government over the death of farmers. Rahul Gandhi has tweeted from his official Twitter handle saying, "How much more will our farmer brothers have to pay for the removal of agricultural laws?" It may be noted that Rahul Gandhi has been attacking the Modi government over agricultural laws since the commencement of the Kisan agitation. On Friday, he attacked the government over farmers' income. He claimed in the backdrop of protests by several farmers' organisations against central agricultural laws that the farmers of the country want income at par with the farmers of Punjab, but the central government wants to make their income equal to the farmers of Bihar. Rahul Gandhi, while sharing a graph of average income per farmer in various states, wrote on his official Twitter handle that "the farmer wants his income to be as much as the farmers of Punjab. The Modi government wants the income of all the farmers of the country to be as much as the farmers of Bihar." कृषि क़ानूनों को हटाने के लिए हमारे किसान भाइयों को और कितनी आहुति देनी होगी? pic.twitter.com/GSnazbYDoA — Rahul Gandhi (@RahulGandhi) December 12, 2020 Also Read:- BJP President JP Nadda to visit Maharashtra after West Bengal Pranab Mukherjee wrote: "Congress deviated from its political direction after I became president" BTC election results 2020: UPPL leads in early trends, BPF trails
