Kabul: At least 19 people were killed and 16 others were injured in the south and west of Afghanistan due to heavy snowfall and flooding in the last 24 hours. Talking to the media, Tamim Azimi, a spokesperson of the country's National Disaster Management Ministry, said that heavy snowfall started on Saturday and is likely to continue in at least 21 of the country's 34 provinces, while heavy rains are expected in the remaining areas.
