19th SAARC summit to be postponed in Pakistan for this reason

ISLAMABAD: The meeting of the 19th SAARC (SAARC) summit to be held in Pakistan has been postponed for the time being in the absence of consensus in view of the ever increasing crisis of the global pandemic coronavirus and the current situation. During the virtual meeting of the SAARC cabinet on Thursday during the pandemic period, the summit was included in the agenda regarding the event. According to sources, most countries feel that this is not the appropriate time for the summit.

The source further said that most countries felt that the whole world is busy in dealing with the Corona epidemic at this time, so this is not the right time for the summit. A source said that the proposal fell due to lack of consensus. Let us know that Pakistan has been continuously emphasizing on the SAARC summit to be held in our country since 2016, but after the martyrdom of 40 CRPF soldiers in the terrorist attacks of Uri, Pathankot and then in Pulwama. It has been decided to boycott this conference.

Regarding the summit, India says that Pakistan needs to create an environment that is conducive for the summit meeting. Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar indirectly attacked Pakistan.
