New Delhi: Several incidents of building collapse swellin Delhi during the rainy season but today again a building collapse has come to light in Begumpur area of Delhi in which four people were buried. Two persons lost their lives, one was seriously injured in the accident, but he was immediately evacuated and sent to Ambedkar Hospital. The incident took place around 4:15 am. Four vehicles were rushed to the rescue after receiving information from the fire department. By the time the rescue team reached there, two out of four persons had died while one person was seriously injured and rushed to the hospital. The incident claimed the lives of Sonu (30) and Kedar (65). Anil (40) was successfully rescued but Pramod (43) was seriously injured. Earlier, a passerby was killed and three others injured when a two-storey building collapsed in North East Delhi's Nand Nagari area. Three months ago, two children were killed when a four-storey building collapsed in Delhi's Sabzi Mandi area. Delhi Police has arrested the owner of the building in the case. The two youths in the incident were taken to Hindu Rao Hospital where they were declared brought dead. One of these children was 12 years old and the other was 7 years old. The incident took place in Malkaganj street of Delhi where a vehicle was also hit by the incident. There are several incidents of building collapse in Delhi during the rainy season. The number of such dilapidated houses in the capital is not one or two but in large numbers.
