Chiyaan Vikram’s Dhill has completed 20 years since release. The action drama, which hit screens on July 2001, was directed by Dharani and had Vikram and Laila playing lead roles. The film did so well at the Box office and bagged many awards that it was remade in Telugu as Sreeram, in Kannada as Sye and in Hindi as Dum. 01 Vikram’s action avatar Vikram played an aspiring police officer Kanagavel in the film. To appear in a trim avatar as a cop, Vikram went on a strict diet and employed a body builder to train him.
