Notes of Rs. 2000 will not be available from today in this bank's ATM

In which now customers will not get Rs 2,000 notes in ATM. In which the bank will not put Rs 2,000 notes in its ATM. For this, the bank has also shared information with all its branches. The bank had also issued a circular on 17 February 2020. In this context, the Indian Bank has said that after withdrawing a Rs 2,000 note, customers have difficulty in exchanging it at retail outlets and elsewhere. Keeping this in mind, it has been decided.

According to the bank's circular, after 1 March 2020, cassettes holding Rs 2,000 notes in Indian Bank ATMs will be disabled. Obviously, it will not be available. The bank has said that the number of cassettes of 200 rupee notes will be increased in ATM machines for customers. It has also been reported that Rs 2,000 notes will be available in the bank branch. While withdrawing money from the bank, customers will be given Rs 2,000 notes. The bank has clearly stated that many customers are coming to the branch to exchange notes worth Rs 2,000. Only one bank has taken this decision. Apart from Indian Bank, no government or private bank has decided to close 2,000 rupee notes in ATMs. V Balasubramanian, president of Financial Software and Systems, the company that manages the ATM services of the country's banks, was quoted as saying that he had not been given any information in this regard.
