2016 Ford Mustang Launched! Priced at Rs 65 lakh

Earlier this year, the Mustang made its debut in India at the Auto Expo 2016. The sixth generation of the muscle car would feature independent rear suspension for a comfortable ride on Indian roads, reported Deccan Chronicle.

”We are not really targeting any age group particularly with the Mustang. Traditional definitions of customer segments are blurring, quoted Anurag Mehrotra, Ford’s executive director of marketing and sales.

More than 9 million units of the Ford Mustang have been sold across the world since its launch in 1964, the report. The Mustang has a ground clearance of 137mm and the boot can hold up to 383 litres of cargo.

Despite being a 2-door car, the Mustang can seat four people. The car measures 4784mm in length, 2080mm in width and 1391mm in height. The fuel tank has a 61 litre capacity.

The Mustang will cost Rs 65 lakh in Delhi, Rs 66.5 lakh in Mumbai, and Rs 68.14 lakh in Navi Mumbai. Bookings for the car will be open in Delhi and Mumbai in the beginning and all prices are ex-showroom.
