Formula 1 has unveiled a record-breaking race schedule for 2023, with the sport planning to host 24 races in a single season for the first time ever. The schedule for the upcoming season includes the first-ever Las Vegas Grand Prix, which is on a Saturday night, as well as the return of the Chinese GP after a three-year hiatus, and it has undergone its largest-ever calendar revision by two events. The World Motor Sport Council and the FIA accepted the schedule, which the governing body of Formula One unveiled on Tuesday. Qatar also makes a comeback after debuting in 2021, while Monaco keeps its spot on the schedule despite contract uncertainty in the middle of the first of two triple headers. Pre-season testing is scheduled to begin on March 5 in Bahrain, and the season will end on November 26 in Abu Dhabi. “We are excited to announce the 2023 calendar with 24 races around the world.
