Summer Solstice 2021: Know all about 'longest day of the year'

New Delhi: These astronomical decreases have taken place for millions of years. These subtractions have an impact on the earth. There are many kinds of actions on earth. On June 21 this year, there will be one such astronomical event in which the shadows of humans are also left behind. As we know, there are 365 days a year. However, these days are not the same. Sometimes the days are short, sometimes the night is long.

Similarly, sometimes the night becomes shorter, sometimes the days are long. Similarly, 21st June is the longest day of the year. On this day, the day is long and the night is short in all the countries located in the Northern Hemisphere. Interestingly, there is a moment on this day when your shadow leaves. In fact, on June 21, the sun is at a very high altitude. From this day on, the night begins to get longer. By 21st September, day and night become equal.

Astronomers said that the sun moves from the northern hemisphere to the Tropic of Cancer between India. Therefore, on this day, the rays of the sun fall on the earth for a longer period of time. On this day, sunlight falls on the earth for about 15-16 hours. Due to which 21st June is the longest day of the year. Sometimes, 22nd June is also a big day. June 22 in 1975 was the biggest day of the year. Now, it will happen in 2203.
