New Delhi: A 21-year-old tuberculosis patient admitted in Fortis Hospital in Gurugram’s Sector 44 was allegedly raped by a staff member. She was admitted in ICU.. According to the information received, her condition was very critical and for this reason she was kept in ICU. She was raped when she was in a subconscious state on the ventilator. In this case, the police said, "When the woman came to her senses on Tuesday, she told her father about the incident." It is being told that the victim told her father by writing on paper after which the father approached the police with the family and got the case registered. Police say that the family feels that the incident took place between October 21 to 27. The girl was admitted to the hospital on 21 October. The woman regained consciousness on October 27. The victim is currently undergoing treatment at the same hospital. In this case, the police gave strict instructions to the hospital after which the hospital investigated the matter thoroughly. Now the police has registered the case under Section 376 (2) (E) of the IPC and identified the accused. Police say he will be arrested soon.
