Corona wreaks havoc in UP's juvenile home, 22 children found infected

Lucknow: Cases of corona infection in Uttar Pradesh do not seem to be reined in even after a lot of efforts. The Juvenile home in Bulandshahr is in a frenzy after reports of 22 children being corona positive. The superintendent of the Juvenile home has even died of infection. As soon as the news of the outbreak of corona infection in the juvenile home came to light, the administration was in turmoil.

All the children have been admitted to Corona Hospital for treatment on the orders of the district collector. The health department team has also come into full alert mode. In fact, recently all the children were tested RT-PCR. On receipt of the test report, it was found that 22 children had been infected. There are currently 75 children in the juvenile home. The superintendent of the juvenile home was also found positive after the corona test on May 7. A few days later, he lost his life.

The news of 22 children being infected has raised everyone's concerns. According to Dr. Bhupendra Singh, Chairman, Child Welfare Committee, all the children are undergoing treatment. At the same time, full attention is being paid to other children. Cases of corona virus infection in UP have already come down, but they have not been fully controlled. 7735 new cases of infection have been registered in the last 24 hours. That's where 172 people died. The relief was that 17,668 people were discharged from the hospital after being recovered.
