Ahmedabad: More than 25 vehicles, including bikes, cars and autorickshaws, were burnt to ashes in a fire at the town police station complex in the Kheda district of Gujarat tonight. Here, a worker who landed in the water tank of a pharmaceutical company in the industrial area called for help from suffocation due to poisonous gas. Four other workers also got into the tank after hearing his call, but no one could come back alive. The five workers reportedly lost their lives due to chemical gas in the tank. In fact, cleaning of water process tank of pharmaceutical company Tutson Pharma was going on in Plot 10 Block No.58 of Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation area at Khatraj village of Kalol town of Gandhinagar district. Here a worker got down and shortly thereafter he suffocated and called for help. Hearing his voice, four workers stood outside for help one after the other landed in the tank, but the five died due to the impact of poisonous gas.
