WhatsApp has warned people about a fake message. It says that people's chat is not private and the government can read it. It says that if the government has read your message, you have got to see a new tick or colour. Now WhatsApp chats have two ticks. If one tick appears when a message is sent, it means the message has been sent, but the other consumer has not received it. When the message is received, 2 ticks appear and when the message is read, two ticks turn blue. On the other hand, in a viral fake message on WhatsApp, it claims that a third tick is going to be added to it. It also says that if the government has read the message, the third tick will appear. If the government wants to take action, one blue tick and two red ticks will appear and the third red tick means that the user is being summoned from the court. Let us tell you that, there is a legal dispute between the WhatsApp and the Government. the WhatsApp has filed a case against the new IT rules of the Central Government. It is only then that an attempt is being made to spread confusion among the people through fake messages. However, WhatsApp users should not rely on any such message as the company has called it wrong and asked people to stay away from such messages. Chat sits end-to-end encrypted on the consumer's middle WhatsApp. Which means no one can read this chat. No government or third party has access to it.
