Srinagar: State Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has strongly condemned the grenade attack on the house of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader in Rajouri district of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Tell you that a 3-year-old boy has died in the attack. Expressing condolences over the death of the child, Manoj Sinha said, "They strongly condemn the cowardly attack on the house of a political leader in Rajouri in which the child was killed and others injured." Prime Minister said. He further said, "I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured and my deepest condolences to the family members. The perpetrators of this heinous act will soon be brought to justice.'' In fact, officials reported on Friday that seven members of his family, including three-year-old Veer, were injured in a grenade attack on BJP leader Jasbir Singh's house in the Khandli area on Thursday night. Sources said Veer died around midnight during treatment at a government hospital in Rajouri. He said the body of the child has been handed over to the family for the funeral. The BJP has strongly condemned the attack and appealed to the police to immediately arrest those responsible for the attack. Locals and the BJP leader's family staged a protest after the incident. He says Jasbir Singh was not given enough protection. Singh was also injured in the incident.
