30-year-old building in Pune collapsed: A child suspected to be trapped under debris

The use of the restricted or dangerous building as a resident of the marketplace has already witnessed many of the dreadful accidents. This time on Saturday, building near Keshavnagar in Pune's Mundhwa get collapsed and caused a huge loss in the area.

ANI reports suggested that the building is around 30 years old and have already received a notice from the municipal corporation of the respective area. Current reports said that eight people have been rescued from the debris but a child is still feared trapped inside the collapsed building. ANI tweet reads: ‘Pune: 8 people have been rescued while one child is still feared trapped inside the building. The building was 30 years old and it was served a notice by the municipal corporation; Rescue operation underway.”

Previously, it was notified that around five people found injured and two others were suspected to be trapped under the debris.

Reportedly, the rescue operation is underway and the injured people are getting shifted to the hospital. Further details of the incident are still awaited.

Recently, while exposing one more example of negligence an under-construction six-story building collapsed onto a four-story housing complex at Shah Beri village in Greater Noida, outside Delhi, on 17th July evening.
