IPL 2017 auction: 351 players including 122 international players

The concerned authorities of Indian Premier League 2017 have auctioned the registered players. The governing body has selected 351 players to officially undergo the hammer out of 799 players who registered for the auctions on Tuesday, February 14.

Out of 351, 122 are international players comprehending six players from other Associated nations. Five are from Afghanistan and a player from United Arab Emirates.

The most of the players sought out are from England. Ben Stokes, Eoin Morgan, and Chris Woakes have listed their base price at INR 2 crore along with Mitchell Johnson, Pat Cummins and Angelo Matshew. The only Indian cricket player with same base price is Ishant Sharma.

All the remaining players from Afghanistan- Asghar, Mohammad, Shahzad, Rashid and Zadran along with Chirag Suri from UAE have also made the same cut.

This will be the final year of IPL before the teams overhaul their squads for the 2018 session.
