Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, accidents take place day in and day out due to illegal firecracker stakes. One such incident has taken place in Bijnor. In Bijnor, five people died while four others are said to be critical in a blast at a cracker factory operating among the people. Police and district administration officials are engaged in relief work on the spot. A massive explosion occurred in a house in Jandwala village of Kotwali area of Bijnor district during the day on Thursday. Illegal house cracker manufacturing was going on here. The blast was so severe that the house collapsed completely while the bodies of five workers were recovered. Four seriously injured persons have been admitted to the district hospital. The search for the bodies is underway from under the debris of the house. The fire brigade as well as the district administration team are also on the spot. With this, senior officials of the district have reached the spot. It is reported that explosive material was being made in the house. The entire house has been destroyed in the blast. The house where the blast took place is said to have been rented by a man named Joseph. He was preparing crackers with nine laborers here. The lock was reportedly locked from outside the house. The gunpowder suddenly caught fire in the afternoon. It caused a huge explosion. Five laborers lost their lives on the spot. The other four working there are injured. These people somehow escaped and saved their lives.
