Sambhal: A tragic incident took place in Gunnore area of Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. Five persons were reportedly tragically killed in a head-on collision between a jeep and a motorcycle. Superintendent of Police Chakresh Mishra informed about the incident and said that a major collision took place between a jeep and a bike near Kadrabad village under Gunnore police station area. He further said that 50-year-old Ram Niwas, 5-year-old Aniket (5), and a three-year-old boy died on the spot in the incident. He said 23-year-old Vipanesh and 21-year-old Preeti, who was seriously injured in the accident, were sent to Moradabad hospital for treatment where they died during treatment. Superintendent of Police Chakresh Mishra said that prima facie it appears that the five deceased were riding bikes. The matter is under investigation.
