New Delhi: A case of cheating of nearly 5 lakh rupees from doctors of AIIMS Hospital in Delhi has come to light. However, out of the five frauds, about 3.25 lakh rupees have also been returned to the doctors. The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cyber Crime himself tweeted about why and how it happened. The thugs tricked the doctors into shutting down the mobile SIM and took otp and then disappeared the money from the account. According to reports, a case of cheating of 4 lakh 90 thousand rupees has been reported from AIIMS doctor Chetan Kumar. However, doctors have also got back Rs 3.25 lakh. Doctor Chetan is said to have received a phone call. The caller told them that their SIM card would be blocked. Doctor Chetan fell into his trap. The caller asked to tell the OTP that came on the phone to save the SIM from being switched off. Doctor Chetan fell into his trap and told the OTP. What was more, 4 lakh 90 thousand rupees were cheated from the account of doctor Chetan. DCP Cyber Crime Anesh Roy said that 3.25 lakh rupees of cheating could be refunded as the incident was reported soon at 155260. As soon as the complaint was filed, an alert was sent to the usage portal, app, or bank in the fraud and then the amount was stopped before it reached the accounts of the fraudsters. The DCP said that any such fraud has to be reported on the cyber cell helpline 155260 while giving the name, time of incident, account number.
