Lucknow: The UP government runs the CM Mass Marriage Scheme for the marriage of poor daughters and divorced women. Under this scheme, 51 thousand rupees are given for the marriage of daughters. The objective of this scheme is to get poor daughters married. The benefit of this scheme is also available to those women who are widowed or divorced and are remarrying. 35 thousand rupees is transferred to the daughter's account. While Rs 10,000 is given for the wedding expenses and the remaining Rs 6,000 is given for electricity-sinners and tents. Earlier, instead of 51 thousand rupees, only 35 thousand rupees were given. Eligibility:-

The benefit of this scheme will be available only to those daughters who are below the poverty line.   Daughters above 18 years of age, widowed women and divorced women can apply for this scheme.   The applicant woman should be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.

The application of Chief Minister's Mass Marriage Scheme is offline. For this, additional chief officer, block development officer will have to be contacted.
