5.2-magnitude quake hits 110 km NNE of Lobujya, Nepal

A 5.2 magnitude earthquake 2 jolted 110 km NNE of Lobujya, Nepal at 02:31:16 GMT on Tuesday.

According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the epicentre, with a depth of 22.15 km, was initially determined to be at 28.8024 degrees north latitude and 87.4023 degrees east longitude.

Earlier, A mild 3.1 magnitude quake hit Nepal's capital Kathmandu on January 11.  The quake was felt around 2.30 pm with the epicentre located in Kuleshwor, on the outskirts of the capital, according to the National Seismological Department. The tremor was felt across Kathmandu valley. However, no damage was reported in the incident so far. The tremor was an aftershock of the 2015 earthquake in which over 9,000 people were killed.
