The best feeling for a woman in the world is to be able to nurture a new life, to be a mother. Mother is an epitome of love and she endures lot of pain to bring a child into this world.

Motherhood is a pure bliss, looking at your young one walk and talk for the first time there is no joy comparable to it. A love of a mother for her child is the purest form of love and doubt no one should be unaware but there are certain facts and dark sides of pregnancy which no one told you about.

Stretch Marks:

Your body is not the same after being pregnant. The stretch marks cover your whole stomach and no there is no way you can stop that. It is inevitable and no amount of creams can stop that. Certain could be effective but to completely get rid of it is not an option.

Emotional imbalance:

Letting a new life grow in you takes a toll just not on your body but also emotionally. You are always drained out taking care of the baby and your emotional level is not balanced. Holding a baby in your hands surely feels you with love but at times you find yourself frustrated and cranky.

Bad bladder control: Being pregnant weakens your bladder muscles and you lose control of it. It is generally seen the mother takes almost of a year to regain her bladder control.

Weight Gain:

Due to hormonal imbalance and to provide nutrient to the child most of the mothers gain weight during pregnancy which becomes difficult loose after pregnancy because they are busy caring for the child.

Loose breast: Due to the load of lactation and bulk of milk the breasts lose their original shape. The tightness of the breasts is gone and they become saggier. It is not possible to regain the original perkiness.

Loss in calcium:

Giving birth is a big task and it takes a lot of things from a mother’s body, calcium is one such thing. After pregnancy the bones become weak and the chances of cavities and osteoporosis increases.
