6 top executives of GoAir resigns from post

New Delhi: There is a phase of turmoil in the management of private sector airline company GoAir. According to media reports, in the last few weeks, about half a dozen senior officials have left work. Earlier this month, GoAir gave employees three options - voluntary resignation, removal from office and indefinite leave without pay. Sources said that after this, more than half a dozen senior officers quit the job, while some others considered various options.

When contacted for comments regarding the senior officers' departure, a GoAir spokesperson neither confirmed nor refused the resignation. The spokesperson said in a statement that the company is constantly assessing the current market situation and will streamline its costs with the current flight operations. According to this scheme, the employees have been sent on leave, so that cash expenditure can be reduced by arranging the number of employees according to the current level of operations.

GoAir is facing problems in paying salaries to his employees and has sent a large number of people on leave without pay. According to sources, there are around 6,700 employees in the Wadia Group's GoAir and about 4,000-4,500 are on leave without pay.
