The Senior Women's National Hockey Camp, which began on Monday at the Sports Authority of India (SAI) South Centre in Bengaluru, is scheduled to be attended by 60 players. The players have been selected on the basis of performance in the recently concluded 11th Senior Women's National Championships, Inter-Ministerial National Championships and other domestic competitions sanctioned by Hockey India. According to Hockey India, the 60-member list also includes senior women's core group players who have been retained based on their performance in international tournaments. The junior women's team has also found a place in the list, which is set to be restricted to 33 players ahead of preparations for next year's Women's Asia Cup. Women's head coach Janeka Shopman has said that a number of top tournaments including the Asia Cup 2022, FIH Hockey Pro League and then the World Cup and the important Asian Games are going to be played in the coming year, so it is important for us to have a strong pool of 33 players. ’ Bajrang commences practice in Moscow, says why he chose Russia for it Sergio created history in first I-League match Mbappe wins another title
