MP: 7 laborers burnt alive in Ahmedabad factory, CM Shivraj to pay compensation

Guna: Seven labourers from the Guna district of Madhya Pradesh have died tragically in a cylinder blast. According to information received, the cylinder blast took place at Ahmedabad in Gujarat. Seven labourers of Guna district have died in a cylinder blast at a factory here. It is said that all the labourers were members of the same family and had gone to Ahmedabad to work as labourers. At the same time, it has been reported that the bodies of 4 people have been cremated and the rest are waiting for their bodies to arrive. The incident occurred when a domestic cylinder exploded inside the factory. Police are now investigating the incident.

It is being reported that about 15 people from Berwas village of Madhusudangarh block had recently gone to Ahmedabad for wages on June 25. All of them were said to be members of the same family. All of them reportedly worked in a cashew factory and a cylinder exploded in the same factory. All of them were engulfed in the fire. According to reports, about 7 people died on the spot while the rest suffered severe burns. "If we had got employment here, why would we leave our family and go there," said a victim who was badly burnt in the accident.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed grief over the incident and announced Rs 4 lakh each to the families of those who died in the incident, 2 lakh to the families of the children and free treatment to the injured.
