'72 Hoorain' trailer released despite censor board's objection

Sanjay Puran Singh's controversial film 72 Hoorain finally released trailer. The censor board did not approve the trailer for this film, however, the makers have put the video on YouTube. The trailer for this film depicts how terrorists deceive innocent people and prepare them to sacrifice in the name of faith. The film tells the narrative of two terrorists who are required to kill others in order to obtain '72 Hoorains' in Jannat. The film depicts the dark aspects of violent extremism.

In the film '72 Hoorain,' while actor Pawan Malhotra plays Hakim Ali, actor Aamir Bashir plays Bilal Ahmed. The film will be released in theatres on July 7. Aside from Hindi, the film will be distributed in English, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Bengali, and Bhojpuri.

The film's producer, Ashok Pandit, has responded to '72 Hoorain' not receiving a green light from the censor board. In an interview, he stated that the censor board objected to revealing a leg during a sequence in the trailer, hence the trailer was not approved. Apart from that, Ashok Pandit expressed his disappointment that the film had not been cleared by the CBFC.  He said, "The makers are shocked as to why the censor board has refused to certify the trailer of the film. On the one hand, the censor board has given the film a National Award, and on the other hand, the trailer of the same film has been denied certification." Has been refused. I think there is a problem with CBFC."
