76th Republic Day Celebrations Concludes with Beating Retreat Ceremony at Vijay Chowk

This year’s event features a spectacular lineup of 30 mesmerizing Indian tunes, being performed live by the bands of the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, and Central Armed Police Forces. The musical showcase marks the ceremonial conclusion of the Republic Day festivities.

President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, other Union Ministers, senior officials, and an enthusiastic public are attending the event, witnessing the glory of this historic occasion.

The ceremony began with the massed bands playing the rousing 'Kadam Kadam Badhaye Ja,' setting an electrifying tone for the evening. 

 

 

Simultaneously, the Indian Air Force band is appealing the crowd with energetic compositions such as 'Galaxy Rider,' 'Stride,' 'Rubaru,' and 'Millennium Flight Fantasy.' The Navy band is adding to the vibrant atmosphere with 'Rashtriya Pratham,' 'Nishak Nishpad,' 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat,' 'Spread the Light of Freedom,' 'Rhythm of the Reef,' and 'Jai Bharati.' The Indian Army band is now performing 'Veer Sapoot,' 

As the ceremony progresses, the grand finale is nearing with the Massed Bands preparing to play 'Priyam Bharatam,' the patriotic favorite 'Aye Mere Watan Ke Logon,' and the traditional 'Drummers Call.' The evening will conclude with the sounding performance of 'Sare Jahan Se Acha' by the Buglers, filling the air with patriotic fervor.

Leading this impressive musical melody, Commander Manoj Sebastian is directing the event as the principal conductor. 

The Beating Retreat ceremony continues to captivate audiences with its blend of military precision, musical brilliance, and patriotic spirit, marking a fitting conclusion to the Republic Day celebrations.
