The government can give them increased salary under the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission. This increased salary can also create additional demand in the market. The employees have been demanding to increase the basic minimum pay for a long time, they demand that the basic pay should be increased from Rs 18 thousand to Rs 26 thousand. Some state governments have also done this on their own. After the new increase, they will get DA of 148 percent, compared to 144 percent earlier.
