An Earthquake of strong magnitude shakes the citizens living in Mexico. Mexico: On Friday morning an 8.0 magnitude of Earthquake struck off the southwest coast of Mexico. The survey by the US Geological reported that the epicentre was 123 km south-west of the town of Pijijiapan, at a depth of 33 km. The Ministry of Civil Defence and Emergency Management and GNS Science said that "if a tsunami had been generated it was not likely to arrive in New Zealand for at least 12 hours."
